Mido’s journey began on the football pitches of Egypt, where he played for Mansoura Club between 1998 and 2001, a period that laid the foundation for his understanding of competitive football. He then moved to Kahraba Talkha Club, where he continued to develop his skills until 2006, before embarking on a different experience outside Egypt by moving to Singapore—a turning point in his career.
In Singapore, Mido did not limit himself to playing only; he began building himself as a coach with a clear vision. He worked with several educational institutions and football academies, including United World College, Euro Soccer Academy, and the Singapore American School (SAS).
